1. Scope and Applicability
These Terms and Conditions govern the registration process and the creation of a member account for European Engineers United (EEU e.V.). By completing the registration form, the user accepts these Terms and Conditions.
2. Eligibility for Registration
Registration is open to individuals who support the purpose and mission of EEU e.V. and meet the membership requirements set out in the association’s bylaws (Satzung).
The association reserves the right to review each registration request.
3. Membership Application
Registration on the website is not equivalent to becoming a member.
After registration, applicants must complete and submit the official membership application form. Membership becomes effective only after approval by the board in accordance with the bylaws.
4. Membership Fee
The annual membership fee is 20 euros per year.
The fee becomes due upon acceptance as a member and annually thereafter.
5. Username and Password Requirements
To ensure safety and consistency across the platform, all users must comply with the association’s security requirements for usernames and passwords.
Members are responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential.
6. Use of the Member Area
The member area may only be used for purposes connected to the activities, objectives, and communication of EEU e.V. Any misuse, including unlawful or harmful behavior, may lead to access restrictions or membership consequences.
7. Data Protection
All personal data collected during registration and membership management is processed in accordance with the applicable data protection laws (including the GDPR).

8. Accuracy of Information
Users must provide accurate and truthful information during registration and are required to update their information if changes occur.
9. Termination of Access
Access to the member area may be suspended or terminated if:
- a member resigns,
- the membership ends for any reason,
- misuse of the platform occurs,
- or legal or security issues require it.
- the application membership request didn’t took place within 30 days.
10. Amendments to These Terms
The association reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions. Users will be informed of significant changes within a reasonable timeframe.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
Jurisdiction is determined by the legal requirements for registered associations (eingetragene Vereine).
