Break the Brake: Simple Solutions, Stronger Europe

Europe has world-class engineers, leading companies, and outstanding research. However we lose time, not because of a lack of ideas, but because of fragmentation:  Different standards, proprietary interfaces, isolated projects.

Therefore, the reflex answer “more regulation” is wrong. Rules slow us down.
Instead, courage for simple solutions moves Europe forward.

What We Need

To overcome these challenges, we need:
First, simple, open standards for complete systems-not just software, but also hardware, electronics and infrastructure.
Additionally, reference architectures that make interoperability practical.
Moreover, best practices as code and hardware kits, instead of PDF guidelines.
Finally, collaboration as an advantage: Those who join save costs, accelerate integration and gain market share.

Europe Must Show Courage

Furthermore,  innovation means risk. Those who only brake will fall behind. Less fear of IP loss, more courage for open platforms. Less “What could go wrong?” and more “What can we achieve together?”.

The Role of EEU

To make this vision a reality, European Engineers United aims to:
Build a community and roadmap for seamless interoperability across systems.
Enable matchmaking for co-development between industry, research and start-ups.

Your Ideas Can Drive Innovation

Ultimately, Europe needs fewer rules and more solutions, because they make collaboration easier and more profitable.
EEU invites you to:

  • Join as founding member (25.01.2026) : contact@eeunited.eu
  • Share your ideas and support in working groups.

Together, we release the brakes-and make collaboration the new norm.
